This morning, Max and I headed out to play some baseball. Max did a great job of trying to hit the ball - he actually DID hit the ball a few times! But even when he missed the ball, we still were having fun.
I guess that is sorta like life. Sometimes you hit the ball, and sometimes you don't. But it is all about what you do next. Do you throw the bat at the catcher and storm off if you miss the ball, or do you choke up for another pitch? Maybe we let the coach give you some advice - keep your eye on the ball, or hold the bat like this...
Max's asthma has been flaring up again this week. It really sucks to see him struggling for breath all the time. He is very slowly improving, but it isn't fun for either of us.
